Rosemary is used in:
1. Fighting Alzheimer’s disease and improving memory.
Rosemary contains effective antioxidant substances such as rosmarinic acid and some other compounds that prevent the breakdown of the brain chemical whose breakdown causes Alzheimer’s disease.
It is also of great importance in European herbal medicine in improving the ability to concentrate and memory by stimulating blood circulation.
2. Rosemary significantly benefits hair, as it increases its consistency, prevents hair loss, and helps it grow by increasing blood flow to the head.
3. It is also used to treat vaginal discharge. Rosemary leaves and oak peels are taken in equal parts, one spoonful of them, on a cup of previously boiled water and placed in it for ten minutes with the lid covered.
It is used as a warm vaginal wash twice daily.
4. It is also used when tired and weak in the nerves. It is recommended to take a spoonful of rosemary, prepared as tea, and taken 3 times a day. Drink after meals and immediately before bed.
